About 3282-Data

The journey of 3282-data began in 2019 when Michel Ausloos attended the 25th Conference of the Parties (COP25) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). At this pivotal event, global leaders emphasized the urgent need to reduce net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030. These discussions struck a chord with Michel, igniting a passion to be part of the solution to one of humanity's most pressing challenges.

In 2020, Michel joined DPD, a leading global parcel delivery network and a division of Geopost, operating in over 50 countries. Here, Michel identified a unique opportunity: leveraging data to revolutionize environmental sustainability within DPD's operations. He envisioned a future where actionable insights, derived from data, could drive tangible reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. This vision became the foundation for his work.

Michel's mission gained momentum when he partnered with Marnix Decuyper, a forward-thinking fleet manager at DPD. Marnix's deep operational expertise and shared passion for innovation perfectly complemented Michel's vision. Together, they began to lay the groundwork for a transformative solution, one that would combine advanced data analytics with practical implementation to drive measurable change.

Fast forward to 2023, and the idea had matured into a robust, scalable concept: 3282-data.

What began as a bold aspiration had evolved into a sophisticated solution designed to empower industries to achieve their sustainability objectives. By integrating environmental data with operational insights, 3282 offered a pathway to reducing emissions while optimising performance—a win-win for both businesses and the planet. Michel and Marnix recognised that scaling their vision and addressing critical challenges like cybersecurity and data trust would require additional expertise.

At this critical juncture, they partnered with Jan De Bondt, a seasoned expert in business and cybersecurity strategy consultancy. Jan brought over 20 years of experience in developing and leading cutting-edge solutions to solve complex business challenges. His entrepreneurial background, coupled with his leadership experience in marketing, sales, and business development, made him an invaluable addition to the team.

The synergy between Michel's inspiration from COP25, Marnix's operational excellence at DPD, and Jan's strategic acumen in cybersecurity and business consultancy positioned 3282 as a game-changer.

Together, they are committed to creating a future where sustainability, security, and trust are seamlessly integrated, delivering a solution that not only drives business success but also fosters a safer, greener, and more resilient digital world.
